Robert (Rob) is a seasoned network and IT security professional who joined the John N. Gardner Institute (JNGI) in 2010. With experience in the public and private sectors, he has spent over two decades in higher education. He has worked for small public and private institutions as well as a large public research institution in the IT, security, and information communications departments. At the Gardner Institute, Rob focuses on building and improving the online platform and integrating partner tools. The MyJNGI system is utilized by those institutions working with the Institute to manage information sharing, data collection, surveys, and an analytics platform. Rob also works with software developers, institutional research office professionals, and platform users to ensure best practices in data usage are employed at each stage of use and that all participants understand the policies, procedures, and overall structure of the Gardner Institute's information assurance program. Rob is purusing an Ed.D. in Education Leadership from Western Carolina University. He holds an M.S. in Information Assurance from Norwich University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
