Alyssa Reinhart

Alyssa has spent her career working across the educational spectrum, both domestically and abroad, including roles in higher education, K-12, and nonprofits, with experience at the local, state, and national level. While formally trained in research and evaluation, more of her recent work has involved building systems, structures, and capacity for educational agencies to make better evidence-based decisions. As a Senior Advisor with CEPR, she is currently managing the launch of a P20W extension of the SDP Fellowship and is a core member of the CEPR team on a Covid-recovery project, launched in collaboration with AIR and NWEA.
Prior to joining SDP, Alyssa served in leadership roles with the Texas Education Agency focusing on both college and career readiness and success, as well as data strategy and analytics. She is also a former Data Fellow with the Strategic Data Project, where she spent three years with the Syracuse City School District as a primary source of analytical leadership. Alyssa holds a bachelor’s degree (Mathematics), a master’s (Program Evaluation), and a doctorate (Educational Psychology) from the University of Texas at Austin.
